Xhorse VVDI MLB Tool MQB48 Collection Error 5 Solution

Problem:

Tried to add a MQB48 key with VVDI MLB Tool and MQB48 adapter.

It can identify key. Go to collect and this error happens.

Initializes successfully. Takes about a minute and errors.

Error: “Collection error (5). The current power supply quality is critically poor. making it impossible to correct valid data.”

Tried different cables and a different laptop. Still the same. Any solution?




Solution:

The error you’re seeing usually comes from a mismatch between the MLB tool and the MQB48 chip.

Make sure you have replaced the enhanced chip in the MQB48 adapter package.
